Bibliography of Further Literature
This Bibliography will cumulatively collect writings about Colour. For practical reasons, titles will be recorded mainly from January 2005 onwards. The period between December 2004 and January 2000 will be added as soon as possible.
Additionally we try to register some publications which have been issued before 1 January 2000; however, we do not attempt completeness for this section.
Alphabetical Catalogue of Editors, Authors, and Anonymous Publications within the years of publication
The Alphabetical Catalogue contains the titles with full bibliographical data. Additionally, we have provided further information from the publishers, full abstracts or table of contents - an efficient support of your research for the title you need.
• Please click here for the Alphabetical Catalogue and the Catalogue categories •
Alphabetical Catalogue of Authors
This page of the catalogue gives you a survey of all authors and editors (= Ed.) who are contained in the chronological Bibliography. The individual years quoted after each author's name then take you directly to the full bibliographical information on the respective page of the catalogue.
Those publications which have more than one author or editor to them are usually traceable through the author named first (this allows for a multiple choice search).
Articles in periodicals have been listed under the surnames of the individual authors.

Collection of Select Bibliographies after areas of interest
In the Systematic Catalogue, the Select Bibliographies have been organized after the principles laid out in the Universal Decimal Classification wherever possible. The reasons for using this bibliographical system have been discussed in detail by the Editor on the AIC Colour 05 conference in Granada, Spain.

Further (web) resources that are available
What you can find here is a short guide to further resources (on the web and elsewhere), which we have found useful to know. As you know, ColourCompass follows the rationale to co-ordinate, and communicate, information about colour which may already be available on the web, even if difficult to trace, and, by doing so, it attempts to help structure Colour Studies as a whole, and promote the dialogue between the different branches of any academic or professional interest in Colour.

Our Reference Library
We are delighted to inform you that our office can boast of a fine collection of literature and supporting materials on Colour which is still growing. You are very welcome to use these holdings as a Reference Library whenever you are near us, and would like to study here.

Electronic Colour Library
The eLibrary provides a cumulative source of online publications on very diverse aspects of Colour. All titles listed here are accessible as electronic data (in various formats), either directly from us or from other sources which we have carefully inspected and consider safe, e.g. the archive server of Die Deutsche Bibliothek (= the german national library).
For the time being, all publications can be downloaded or accessed free of charge; for the future, however, we anticipate that there will also be some commercial titles available.
All titles contained in the eLibrary are fully available only from those pages, with complete bibliographical data e. g. table of contents or abstract. The chronological Bibliography of Colour gives merely a short entry for the same title, with a link to the eLibrary section.
Authors interested in having their work published here, are warmly invited to contact us via • Feedb@ck. •

The "Filmography of Colour"
All film titles are listed chronologically, and then alphabetically after (original) titles.
Wherever available we provide further information about the director, script author, and producer. If this should not have become clear from the précis of the story already, the entry Additional information: will clarify why the title has been considered relevant to colour.
Additionally, we refer you to further sources of information available on the web which have appeared reliable by the standards of Colour Compass (however, ColourCompass cannot accept any responsibility for the contents, or availability, of external websites which can be accessed through links from our pages). We have also quoted some shops which may supply some of the films mentioned.
